Safety components

There are approximately 180 parts or systems that have been leak tested on a normal car. Leak rates range from 100 Sccm down to 10E-8 Sccs.

Even though pressure decay and mass flow are often used, tightness demands on automotive components are getting heavier to meet EPA regulations and for safety reasons (DOT requirements). These specifications can only be met using tracer gas leak test methods such as helium and hydrogen.

Safety components :

Using Adixen instruments and tracer gas for leak testing automotive components has become a standard within the automotive industry and is today a timesaving alternative to many of the traditional methods.

Examples of components to test are: airbag systems, brake components, power steering.

Hard Vacuum Helium Leak Detection Solution

ASI 20 MD : Reliable, flexible and high performance solution to be integrated in an industrial testing system.

ASM 142 Series : Versatile, the ASM 142 can be used as a stand-alone product or integrated in an industrial testing system.

Hydrogen sniffer leak detection solution

H2000 PLUS: Safe and effective, this product can detect, measure, and locate leak rates down to 5x10E-7 mbarl/s using hydrogen as tracer gas. It is maintenance free and available in benchtop, panel and battery operated version.

ILS500: Complete system for leaking, trace gas handling, tooling control and test sequencing using hydrogen as tracer gas. Advanced technology prepared for plug and play.

Note: If tracer gas helium is mandatory, the ASM142 Series are suitable products.
